For dyeing wool, silk, alpaca, mohair, angora, cashmere, llama, camel, possum, yak, bird feathers, nylon (polyamide) and soybean fibre. These are acid dyes and will not dye cellulose fibres such as cotton or synthetics like polyester and acrylic.

Dye wool easily at home: Add the dye to a pot of water with a little white vinegar. Add your fibre and gently heat.
