This New Zealand merino sliver comes from the South Island where the arid climate is ideal for growing high quality fine fibre. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed. Merino is a lovely wool for hand spinning into next-to-skin soft yarn, or felting into a soft, smooth felt.
